Guided Meditation
Group In Person, One on One In Person, Online with Zoom

Meditation is to help provide an opportunity for the body to continually energize itself. You'll become aware of stress and tension, and soothe it before headaches, backaches, and other physical pains set in. Meditation is an essential skill, not a diversion. And we can all improve our skill level to help us manage stress in a healthier way.
No one technique will work for every person, every time you need to relax. The more techniques we know, the more likely we are to use one.
Through your guided meditation, you can learn to clear the mind-and concentrate on a single mental focus (sound, image, object, phrase) for an extended period of time. Meditation is not so much doing, as it is not doing something, and learning to just be.
Within your guided meditation, you’ll learn the Mind/Body Connection - to release unnecessary muscle tension and quiet the mind. Systematic Progressive Relaxation - involves the intentional tightening and release of muscles in the body, one by one. Mind-Focused Techniques - mental techniques which result in relaxation. Guided Imagery and Visualization-to capitalize on the incredible capacity of the imagination to create sensory images that have powerful impact on the mind and body.
Meditation - to clear the mind and then concentrate on a single mental focus. These techniques and others will be taught in your guided meditation.
